Description

Wild lettuce (Lactuca virosa) contains a milky-looking latex that acts as a sedative. It is a hypnotic nervine, meaning it helps induce deep, healing sleep. It can also be used as a gentle muscle relaxant and to calm overactivity and restlessness. As an antispasmodic, it can be used for dry, irritated coughs. It can help relieve colic pains in the intestines and uterus and can help with muscle pain related to rheumatism. The wild lettuce used to make this alcohol extraction tincture was organically grown by me here in northern Vermont. Available in 1 oz, 2 oz and 4 oz dropper bottles. Suggested dose is 1-3 dropperfuls as needed. One dropperful is 1 squeeze of the rubber bulb regardless of the size of the glass part. The droppers have different size glass parts for different size bottles, but the rubber bulbs are the same size. A dropperful will not actually fill the glass part.
